1.Who we are
InfinityMathForAll is a student-led nonprofit educational initiative. High school volunteers coach elementary students (grades K–5) for math competitions — Noetic, MOEMS, and Math Kangaroo — plus a grade-level Math Foundations track. Sessions are held in person at E.M. Grimmer, Fred E. Weibel, and Warm Springs Elementary schools in Fremont, California. The student team is guided by an advisory board of parent volunteers who review curriculum and oversee safety policy.
This policy covers this website and our sign-up forms. It does not cover the contest organizers themselves — when you register your child to compete in Noetic, MOEMS, or Math Kangaroo, you register directly with that organization, on their site, under their privacy policy. We are not involved in that transaction and never see the payment.
2.What we collect
Everything we hold comes from a form that an adult filled in. We collect nothing automatically beyond ordinary server logs, and we run no tracking of any kind.
From families, on the student sign-up form

We do not ask for your home address, phone number, date of birth, school ID number, government identifiers, health information, or anything about family finances. Please do not enter any of that in the free-text boxes — if you do, we will delete it.
From high school volunteers, on the coach sign-up form
Prospective coaches are teenagers, and they fill in their own form: name, email, grade and school, contest experience, and availability. We use it to schedule sessions, run volunteer training, and verify community service hours. If a volunteer is under 18, we expect a parent to be aware of the commitment, and we will confirm with a parent before assigning a minor to a session.
Automatically
This site is a static page served through Cloudflare. Cloudflare records standard request information (IP address, timestamp, browser user-agent) to serve the page and block attacks. We use it for nothing else, and we do not attempt to identify visitors from it. We set no cookies of our own.
3.Children's privacy and parental consent
Our program serves children under 13, which puts us squarely in the territory the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) exists to govern. Our approach is to keep children out of the data path entirely:
- Children do not use this website to give us anything. There are no student accounts, no logins, no passwords, no student-facing chat, no comment boxes, no uploads, and no games that collect input. The site is a brochure; the only interactive element is a sign-up form intended for an adult.
- A parent or guardian completes every enrollment. The form requires the parent's own name and email precisely so that the adult providing the child's information is identified and reachable. Submitting the form is how we obtain verifiable parental consent to hold the small amount of information listed above.
- We collect the minimum a coach needs to teach. A name for the roster and a grade for placement. Nothing about the child is used for any purpose except running the class they signed up for.
- We never condition participation on giving us more. Every optional field is genuinely optional, and leaving one blank never costs a student a spot.
- We do not disclose a child's information to any third party for that party's own purposes — not to sponsors, not to schools beyond confirming a roster with the site host, not to anyone.
If you believe we have somehow collected information from a child directly, or more than what is described here, tell us and we will delete it promptly. Contact details are in section 12.
4.How we use the information
Only for running the program:
- Placing a student in the right track and small group, and building the class roster
- Emailing the responsible parent about schedules, room changes, cancellations, and contest registration deadlines
- Answering the questions you write in the form's open-response box
- Counting participation — how many students and coaches we have, at how many schools — so we can report honest totals on this site and to school partners
- Keeping sessions safe, including knowing which adult to contact about a student
We do not use it to advertise to you, we do not build profiles, we do not run automated decision-making about students, and we do not email you about anything unrelated to the program.
5.Who can see it

That is the complete list. We do not sell, rent, trade, or license family information, and we do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, sponsors, or other nonprofits. If we are ever legally compelled to disclose something, we will tell the affected families unless we are prohibited from doing so.
6.Photographs and screenshots
We sometimes want to show what a session actually looks like — on this website, or to a school or sponsor considering supporting us. That only happens with permission:
- The photo release on the sign-up form is opt-in and optional. If you leave it blank, the answer is no, and nothing changes about your child's participation.
- We never publish a student's full name alongside an image.
- You can withdraw permission at any time by emailing us, and we will remove the image from our site.
7.Cookies, analytics, and advertising
We set no cookies of our own. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no Meta or TikTok tag, no session recording, no heatmapping, no cross-site profiling, and no remarketing code on this site. We have no advertising relationships at all, and as a free program we have nothing to upsell you.
Two third parties do load resources on this page and can therefore see that a request was made: Google Fonts (typefaces) and Cloudflare (hosting). If you open a sign-up form, Google Forms is loaded and may set its own cookies under Google's policy — that is Google's behavior, not ours, and it happens only when you choose to open a form.
8.How long we keep it, and deletion
- Student sign-ups: kept for the current program year and one following year, so a returning student doesn't have to re-enroll from scratch. Then deleted.
- Volunteer records: kept while the volunteer is active, plus two years afterward, because coaches ask us to verify their community service hours for college applications long after they finish.
- Participation totals: we keep aggregate counts (how many students, coaches, schools) indefinitely. These contain no names and cannot be traced back to a person.
- Anything you ask us to delete: gone, and we will confirm by email when it is done.
9.Your rights as a parent
At any time, by emailing us, you may:
- See exactly what we hold about your child — we will send you the record
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete your child's information, and withdraw consent for us to keep it
- Withdraw photo permission, and have images taken down
- Refuse further email from us while keeping your child enrolled — tell us the best alternative way to reach you
Under COPPA you can refuse to let us keep your child's information and still have your child participate, as long as we can identify them well enough to run a class. In practice that means a first name and a grade. We will make that work.
California families have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA. We do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it, so there is nothing to opt out of — but the access, correction, and deletion rights above are yours regardless, and we honor them for everyone, not just Californians.
10.Security, and what we can't promise
We keep the amount of information we hold deliberately tiny, because the safest record is the one that was never collected. What we do hold sits in a Google account with access limited to the student leaders who need it and our parent advisors, protected by Google's authentication.
We are honest about our limits: this is a volunteer organization run by high school students, not a company with a security team. We are not going to claim our systems are unbreachable. What we will commit to is collecting as little as possible, restricting who can see it, and telling affected families directly and promptly if we ever learn that information has been exposed.
11.Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle family information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If a change is significant — a new category of information, or a new party who can see it — we will email enrolled families rather than quietly editing the page. We will not apply a materially different use to information we already hold without asking a parent first.
12.How to reach a human
Privacy questions, deletion requests, a photo you want removed, or a school administrator who needs to vet us before we use a classroom — all of it goes to the same address, and a real person on the student team reads it with a parent advisor.
